RevAngel Designs is Angela King, I'm a politically engaged graphic designer based in Hackney, East London and I've been working exclusively for the not-for-profit sector for over ten years. I’m selective about who I work for because I want the materials I create to have a purpose other than to sell a lifestyle or brand; I want to raise awareness of the kind of issues I feel are important. My clients range from large international organisations down to the smallest community groups and include War on Want, Health Poverty Action, International Alert, Global Justice Now, Conciliation Resources and Women for Refugee Women. I would particularly welcome the opportunity to work for more refugee/asylum and women’s rights organisations.

What I do

As you can see from the samples of my work, I've produced effective designs for a wide range of printed and online media. I offer a fast, friendly and flexible service and a commitment to meeting your brief no matter how tight your deadline or budget. I can help with all kinds of materials, whether you need a leaflet or advert produced at short notice, a report laid out in your house style or something more creative to get your message across. I enjoy the challenge of coming up with a new concept, including slogans and some copy, but if you've already decided exactly how you want something to look I'm happy to oblige. If I think something doesn't work I'll tell you, but at the end of the day, you're the boss!

By choosing RevAngel Designs you’re not only choosing someone with design expertise, you’re choosing someone who appreciates the demands and constraints of a campaigning organisation; someone who knows how to communicate your message and understands how important it is; and someone who cares about the issues concerned as much as you do. I have a vested interest in the effectiveness of the materials I produce because I want my work, in the small way that it can, to contribute to the drive for a more equal and just society.
